Took Cam Payne all of one game to become the most interesting backup PG in the 19/20 season.
Would love it (and I'm sure Monty agrees) if someone seized control of that gig. Payne could help create stability on the court in terms of rotations as well help the FO in shortening the list of needs during the brief off-season prior to 20/21.
I was impressed with Payne's play in the first of eight game. He needs to keep that consistency and improve on it. Young man also needs to think about the difference between "on time" and "Lombardi time". When in doubt always err on the side of Lombardi time.
